Privacy policy

This policy explains how SEARS ESSENTIALS ("Slide-n-Lock", "we") collects and uses your personal data on slide-n-lock.com, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Order details: name, phone number, email, delivery address and what you bought.
• Payment status from Cashfree. We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank details.
• Basic, anonymous site usage (pages viewed, device type) to improve the site.

Why we use it

• To process, ship and support your order, and send order and delivery updates.
• To send offers only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To meet tax and legal obligations (for example GST invoices).

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to fulfil your order: Cashfree (payments), Shiprocket and its courier partners (delivery), and our email provider (order emails). We do not sell your data.

How we protect it

Payments are handled on Cashfree's secure pages. Order data is stored on access-controlled servers, and only the people who need it to fulfil and support your order can see it. Some of our service providers (for example our email provider) may process data on servers outside India, under their own security commitments.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax law requires (currently up to 8 years). Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing admin@slide-n-lock.com. Our grievance officer is Amit.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

Cookies

We use essential storage to remember your cart. Analytics cookies, if used, are anonymous.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
